Well hello,

I'm not new to guns, but new to S&W. I recently bought a 15-22 back in Feb., and not like 2 days ago bought another one. I own a couple more guns as well. A Howa 22-250, and Savage .17 HMR and a Taurus 9mm millennium pro. I shoot the M-16 for work, and only get to shoot it once a year for quals. I want to keep my muscle memory up during my down time since I carry the weapon, but don't get to shoot. The 15-22 is a great trainer just to keep the muscles remembering what to do.

I looked into many other replicas, but I favored the 15-22 out of the bunch. Well here are some pictures.

Both are 15-22s
Top one has a BSE red dot, Laser sight, 6 position hand grip, and flashlight.

Bottom one has a Konuspro 4x32 scope, rail guards, Magpul butt stock, and grip

Welcome from across the sound. I thought about a 15-22 but cheaped out and got a CMMG conversion kit. Probably (certainly) not as good as a dedicated weapon but it serves it's purpose although lately 5.56 ammo has been easier to find than 22LR. (go figure) I was at the range yesterday and they had 5.56 at $11 a box with a 25 box limit but not 22LR in stock.

Thanks

I actually just got the 15-22 on the bottom 2 days ago.

I got it for $700 with the scope, butt stock, grip, rail covers and 2 mags, plus 2500 rds of ammo.

its sad when the plinking ammo is harder to find then ammo that will do some major damage.

Welcome from West Linn, Oregon. Wow Compdrag; I like your style; "When in doubt, buy em both." It's smart to buy quality and have something that could last a lifetime.
This Forum is filled with people who literally know every thing, or darned near, about all things S&W. Ask for help on questions anytime you need and you will get back good information. Contribute back where you can, like you did in your initial greeting by showing everyone the thought you put in with the firearms you purchased.

Have always been into guns, and had my .17 for about 8 years now. About 2 years ago I got the 9mm for home protection and Concealed carry. Then the up roar happened and been on a bit of a buying kick. Not a big AR guy, but have always wanted one.

Real love is the AUG A2, FN FAL,and P90. But they are a little expensive. The 15-22 is awesome I love it. I'm a more sit 500 yds away and kill something kind of guy so that's why I got the 22-250. 4000+ FPS you can't ask for any better. I just love guns.

Welcome from Texas compdrag. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.
