I have a 995TS that I swear would work in quicksand.

Yup, I watched the many of the torture test videos before I bought my Hi-Points. Definitely part of the appeal - feeds my prepper side! My favorite one was where the pistol was dropped and smothered in mud, and aside from some slide-racking issues & soft trigger it continued to fire round after round. The OP was in disbelief. Lifetime warranties, being called pigs and otherwise reliable shooters with few issues is what attracted me to these firearms.
