New guy from SW Colorado

Welcome from N. New Mexico. I get up to SW Colorado every two weeks for my day job. What town are you near? And are you racing still?

I live in the mountains to the west of Walsenburg. I'm once again headed down to NRA Whittington Center near Raton, New Mexico tomorrow to shoot the 625JM and try out the latest/final (?) modifications, finish the barrel "re"-break in & get the Burris Fastfire III red dot sight dialed in.

I don't do the amateur drag racing anymore. I found that, like quite a few things, it's too expensive in early retirement. I do own a 2006 Mustang GT that is supercharged, intercooled, etc and it's a beast. It's a very low mileage toy and doesn't come out of the garage very often.

Sounds like fun on both accounts. I'm close to retirement also and I'm trying to limit my own "money pits".

I live in the mountains west of Walsenburg. About halfway between Walsenburg and La Veta.
