Doesn't sound good. S&W went through a period of lousy control with one of the best revolvers ever made. Couldn't even screw a barrel on straight. If the barrel is simply clocked wrong they will say the +/- 5 degrees is 'in spec'. If it's actually canted as in (not straight) there isn't much can be done. They are also supposed to have superb triggers. I'm fortunate that I own a real jewel and it makes me sick that S&W would mess up such a close competitor to the Colt Python.
