I just happened upon this forum while searching for information about S&W revolvers. I've owned S&W revolvers since 1966 and carried a number of them (Models 10, 19, 27 36 and 66) on duty and back-up as a US Border Patrol Agent in the 70's. I also bought one of the first Model 39 9mm in 1973. I love the revolvers but I haven't as yet tried any of the semi-autos.
