Hey guys just wanted to introduced myself...I just picked up an M&P 40C yesterday for a really good price I think ($395) and I love it so far! I went with it over the shield mainly because of the price but I held both and with the pinky rest on the mag on the 40C it felt a lot better in my hands. I talked to S&W and I got them to send me an extra frame tool and the pinky rest for the flat mag...they were very nice and easy to deal with. All I gotta do is shoot it now haha. I'll report back.

I paid that for my 40c used, with Trijicon night sights.
If you paid that for one brand new, you got a steal.
Cheapest I can find for non-LEO or military is in the 450 to 460 range, plus shipping, FFL...taxes, etc.

I too like the way it feels in my hands better than the Shield.
40c is my daily carry, and I shoot it better than I did my old SD40VE...
Of course, my girl loved the way it felt in her hand, so next purchase was a 9c for her. We put a lot of lead down range with our guns...absolutely love them.

Congrats! That's a great deal!! I also carry a 40c and a shield 40. You'll love it! Have fun and be safe! Let us know how it shoots

its a fun and good gun. you might wanna look into the Apex Dcak trigger kit though. its def gonna make the gun more fun. i did that at first and it got my trigger to 5.5lbs. then i installed the polymer trigger, which makes the trigger super smooth and soft and the reset is nothing...but the pull got a little light for me as far as a carry gun( for me) but its a lot of fun to shoot at the range

Welcome to the forum. Another Mass member.
I also have a .40c since last October and still love it.
Did you get it locally?

Welcome, I'm in Ma. also, bought my 40c a few months ago & absolutely love it

Took her to the range for the first time today! It took a while but I've been busy. Since I bought the 40C I had my local shop do the apex trigger kit...it's down to a 5 lb trigger pull now and it feels nice and crisp. Anyways here's my target from my first couple of mags shooing Winchester white box from 7 yards.
