New M&P line - Bodyguard 380

I absolutely love my M&P 380. I can with confidence consistantly hit the black center of a NRA B-16 pistol target up to 10 yards. But I mostly practice with it at 3-5 yards.

It pretty much eats any ammo brand I feed it. Just came back from the range today and I ran 200 rounds of Remington UMC (green box) and the felt recoil was noticably more sharper than the monarch I was using, although it burned a litle bit cleaner than the Monarch, it had a "sweeter" smell to it. I never used the Remington UMC before today, I like it, good stuff!

Glad to hear some good comments about the BG. Mine was so bad I wouldn't use it for a paper weight. Sent it back to S&W and when I got it back I traded it since I could never trust it for EDC. I really liked the features of the BG and if S&W ever gets the bugs out I'll get another one but for now I'm not willing to go through the pains again.

I too am glad to hear some good comments about the BG380. Maybe in the year since I got one, they upped their quality control. Mine was horrible and wasn't user error. Misfires, misfeeds and slide not staying locked back. Several returns and parts replaced for each problem. All the problems I had are well documented by others and even appear on youtube videos. Too bad they didn't read the entire problem list I gave them as they would only fix one thing at a time dragging out my misery several months.

It is fixed now and shoots anything I put thru it as it should. Had they tested it better, it wouldn't have left the factory as my problems were all from day 1 and several hundred rounds later as well.
