I think the M&P can definitely be "temperamental" with certain rounds. I shot mine for the first time today using lead reloads. Yes i know, those rounds suck, but finding 9mm rounds where i live is like finding gold. And my gun had quite a few malfunctions. Im going to take it back out tomorrow with some 9mm luger 115g and see how it goes.

I've had no trouble with my cast reloads.
My 40c did it
My M&P40c did it every 12 rd or so for the first 50rds, I called Smith & wesson and they said to polish the feed ramp and if that don't work send it in I polish the ramp and lube it good. Well I have shot over 500 rds in it and no problems now. I also used slip2000 lube.

Did you polish the feed ramp or just apply lube and shoot more rounds? If you did polish it, what did you use?
