New M&P owner

Hey guys I just picked up a M&P 40c yesterday. It's used but I traded up for it and got a really good deal. Had a few questions: does the m&p 40c have night sights? Whom ever the previous owner was put green paint on the front sight. The rear sights show up great in low light situations but the front is hard to see. Any suggestions on taking it off? Does it hurt the original sights?

It is common to use finger nail polish to paint the sight,, You can try non acetone nail polish remove ! Congrats on the new gun
