New M&P PC ported barrel and slide

I have seen two of these guns in two lgs's down here in Florida. I have two S&W's a 1911PC 5" and a CORE in 40. Two great guns. If you have seen one of these new ported guns what's your take on it. I did not like the ports on the gun the metal slide was thin and the two I handled the trigger was heavy on one and the second one the trigger was broken. Has anyone bought this gun and how do you like it.

The one I got to handle had an excellent trigger comparable to the apex ones I've tried.

S&W M&P Ported

I have owned a 4.25 9 mm ported since October 6. When you get the gun you have to set the trigger stop one full turn counterclockwise ( it's an Allen screw behind the removable grip.). Once this is done, you have a nice short trigger reset. I've shot 500 rounds and the gun is AWESOME!

I too own the M&P 9PC ported 4.25" model. I've had it since mid-October. So far it has been perfect after several hundred rounds. No issues whatsoever. Accuracy is great. I normally shoot it at 15 yards and leave a big hole in the target center. And I'm not that good of a shooter.

Adjust the trigger as psottong said if you want a shorter reset.
