New M&Ps get three free magazines

How much did you pay for the mags again? Oh yeah...they were FREE w/purchase. So no one is screwing you or ignoring you. And of course they are going to fill gun sale orders first before they fill FREE repate orders, it would make no sense to stop selling handguns would it? You have your two that came with the gun correct? Spo your gun functions perfectly?

I get that you are frustrated, but they ran out, be thankful there wasn't a "while supplies last" clause in the offer, and you will eventually get your magazines.

This is why I'm not complaining too much. I bought the Carry and Range Kit, which came with 3 mags, so I'm not hurting for the 3 extra.

I did send CS another email and got a response back on Sep. 3rd saying they're still backordered and expect to have them back in stock in the next 4 weeks so I'm waiting patiently.

I sent my information to S&W at the end of April or first of May and haven't received my 3 magazines yet. HOWEVER, I sent CS an email over this past weekend asking about the magazines and they responded today. Their response was that due to the high demand the magazines had been back ordered but that they were mailed yesterday. I have a tracking number and the magazines were in Nashville, TN, today. I hope to have them either Friday or Monday.

My forms were submitted 1st-2nd week of May. Still nothing but contacted CS 2 days ago and they at least confirmed receipt of the forms. I got the standard response "mags backordered and will ship when they are back in-stock."

My rebate was received May 15th, i finally recieved my magazines today.

If it hasn't been said already, S&W could take a lesson from Springfield. Over the last few years I've put in about a half-dozen requests for their free magazine promotions and I think the longest it ever took to get my stuff was 2 and 1/2 weeks.

I picked up a M&P 15-22 a couple years ago during a free ammo promotion, and after a few emails and calls, got the ammo 7 months later.

I finally got my last three. I mailed the rebate form in May, they received it May 15th. I got the mags September 19th. Four months later. I'm not complaining, just commenting. Smith&Wesson was nice every time I called. Milano's, that's another story. But i was happy to get three free magazines.

Called S&W today to get an update, was told they weren't prepared for how popular the promo would be.

They have already shipped 15,000 magazines, have 3,000 more to ship.

This was my third call. The first time I was told my order was processed in June, the second time, they said July, and today August.

Creeping up on 5 months now since purchase date.
