Good day ya'll....
I thought I would take this time to re-introduce myself. My handle is "reuben" and I am perhaps better known over on the Ruger forum. I'm am living in alaska and working with the legendary "Rob Leahy" of "Simply Rugged" holster fame. He has encouraged (pushed) me into starting up my own business (we wants the commissions)... and making my own way.. (he's tired of me)... in the leather smithing world.
All....(most).. kidding aside..
I've been in the holster making vocation full time for over a year... I have done leather work, for my own use for many years, but never considered it a career until recently. With a bit of trepidation I have stepped into the arena, and have put together my fledgeling website.
I don't make pancake holsters but I do make a variety of styles that reflect a lifelong interest in late 19th and early 20th century holster design. There are a few more modern designs as well, but i'm going to try and stay as true as I can to the classic models...
Other outdoor gear built with the hunter, hiker and fisherman in mind is also offered.
My webpage is also a bit about myself and the lifestyle I plan on living. I own acreage off the road system here in Alaska, and I intend to build a somewhat subsistence lifestyle. I invite you to stop by, if nothing else than to see pictures, read a few stories and live a bit vicariously through me, as I build my homestead and make holsters....
Thank you all for your time.....

ciao Ya'll
