Hi everyone my name is Alvin and I'm from San Diego. I thought I would introduce myself as I just joined and purchased my first revolver. I picked up a really nice S&W 60-15 from a friend. I am normally a Sig and Kimber guy, but have almost no complaints with this model 60.
It took a little practice to consistently hit my targets with my magnum rounds, okay a lot of practice but it was well worth it. I think .38+P chambered except when hunting. I'm going to be purchasing the key cover modification, I know it's hotly debated but I can't stand the look of it and have no one in the home to worry about.
I got the Model 60 at a steal for $300 from a friend who has two custom revolvers coming in from S&W. He wouldn't give me details, but said I would drool and ask to buy one or both of them. Part of the reason I got the gun for cheap is it have no grips or holster. He used expensive ivory grips believe, and wouldn't give up any of his holsters. He was nice enough to let me use his crimson trace until I get new grips. If anyone has any old grips orand iwb or any holste they want to sell or trade for let me know.
I look forward to participating on the forum, and I might have already caught the S&W bug.
