Enjoyed your site as I browsed around reliving my old memories from yesteryear.
I come from the land where a former governor signed into law hours before he left that you couldn't buy more than 1 handgun in a 30 day period, not that us folks from New Jersey are in the gun dealing business. I own the following (sounds like an advertisement):
S&W Model 63 stainless steel .22 caliber, 4" barrel, no dash, "30 year old" pistol purchased 5/17/1982, no pin barrel, like new condition
SN: M195800
Original owner, original S&W paperwork, pistol permit, sticker and Invoice
Have original wood hand grips (never used)
Gun has gray "Presentation grip by Pachmayr" handgrip
Maybe 200 - 250 rounds fired since new in indoor target range. "There isn't much to hunt around here
where I live. They keep closing target ranges."
Never holstered, never dropped, never used outdoors. Has been stored in a fleece lined kit bag
since 1982.
Original 30 year old Hoppe's ugly bright orange plastic pistol cleaning kit.
Original unopened box 100 cnt Remington .22 pistol match ammunition stamped 'C14F2'
or 'C1452' and opened box 50 cnt CCI ammo.
I got back to an interest in guns since my 27 year old son just recently purchased his first handgun, an H & K P30 9mm, Sweet.
Seems the yunguns like the newer, more powerful, composite / metal automatics. Can't say I blame him. His gun is lighter than mine.
