Hi everyone, new member here. I've already posted a bit around but I feel it's time for an introduction.
Anyway, I'm from NY and I purchased my first gun just a few days ago. I've always loved guns, but I just never really got around to actually buying one.
This past Christmas, my sister and I decided to get my father a .22 Marlin for some fun plinking, and after trying it, I knew it was time. I had my heart set on a Kel Tec SU-22, but then after I held a MP15-22 at the store, I was smitten.
Technically, I like to consider myself a constitutionalist/libertarian, but to most neocons these days, I'm probably something along the lines of "pinko" or "commie" or a combination of the two, but that's fine with me. I think that no matter what we believe, we're all just trying to do what we think is best for our country and I think there's something to be said about that.
Anyway, I'm glad to be a member of these fine forums. Any other NY shooters out there?
