New Member, Need help figuring out what I just bought!

I am a new member, solely joined this forum to figure out what revolver I just bought! Unsure of how to use forums, never done this before! a little indight on how to post a picture would be greatly appreciated! heres a link to my page if that works! 357 Guns | Facebook

There's a sticky (permanent post) at the start of each section in this forum that lists the information you need to provide to get information about your firearm. Caliber, finish, barrel length, etc. Also in there somewhere is information on how to post pictures. I, and many other old codgers, do not do Facebook so can't view your revolver.

If that is the actual serial number, it predates a Model 10 designation. However, I'm guessing that the number you posted is an assembly number. The actual serial number is on the butt of the gun. You may have to remove the grips to see it if the grips cover the bottom of the butt.

You might have either a 38/44 Heavy Duty or possibly a Triple Lock? You can get a bit more help by posting a picture of the right side of the barrel and inside the open crane.
