Greetings the forum. I just joined and already have a question. I recently picked up a 28-2 Highway Patrolman with a 6" Barrel. It's blued, and in pretty good shape, although it needs a good cleaning. It belonged to a dear friend, ex-cop who passed recently. I am trying to figure out when it was made and figure I could get the answer here. The serial number is N44855.

A Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman is a very fine revolver. That one should be 1972.
