I picked up my 15-22 a few days ago and was able to send a couple hundred mini-mags down range after work today. It was smooth shooting – no issues with the rifle thus far. Like many of you, I acquired a few pieces of "furniture" while waiting for the rifle to get out of jail. One of my purchases was a NcSTAR Mark III Tactical 3-9x42 (the one with the mini red dot on top of the scope). The scope worked fine and I was able to zero it easily. However, the red dot was pointing very high, and even when adjusted down to the low limit, it is still shooting high. It appears to be mounted correctly, so not sure what the issue is, if I should just return it for adjustment, or try mounting to the side like I've seen some others do.

I'd prefer to keep it on top, but not doing me much good if it's not accurate. Anyone have this same problem, and/or know of a solution to this? Thanks!

even though it is for CQB you may need to try to sight it in from a little further out if you want to keep it as a slave sight.

It's too far away from the bore centerline to sight in on a 22.

You can try and rotate it down to the side and see if that helps. I gave up on mine and took it off. It looks great on the scope but there's just not enough range of adjustment for on a 22.
