New Papa again

My older son and his wife just brought my new grandson in to the world. Mom and baby are doing great and his 3 yr old big brother is thrilled! Dad is well. He was just offered a position as a paramedic firefighter with a department in our area and will start the academy in August. He'll also continue as an E6 Flight Medic in the National Guard (14 years now, 3 deployments).

Thankfully we live close by so it's the best for all of us. Just had to share.

Wonderful news indeed. I too know the joy of grandkids. We have 5 and, sorry to repeat myself, we have custody of and raise three.

In truth, my days would be empty without them. We need each other.

Thanks all. Mom is doing great, she is recovering very quickly. Big brother is pushing things a bit today with mom and dad lol. It's only natural. He spent the day/night with me on Monday and was very well behaved but he always is for me haha.

The two boys are the same age difference as my two sons-just a bit shy of 4 years-which I think is pretty cool too.
