new Pythons

I find little wrong with the new rear sight. I find where it dials in and lock it down. It's perfectly fine as-is for most uses...as a fine target sight it's not optimum but outside of that it's just not the old Accro or Elliason which we're used to.
 
The rumor I’ve heard is Colt is going to chamber the Anaconda for the 454.

The Anaconda is a beast. Way overbuilt for a 44M. I may have to get the 454, just because.

I have one in .44 Magnum with the 6" barrel. It is certainly a "beast". I don't know what it weighs but it is much heavier than my 6" M29. Shooting with one hand, fatigue sets in much quicker than when shooting the 29, but the weight probably lessens the recoil a bit.
 
My rear sight had a lot of wobble in it and didn’t want to hold zero. The Wilson sight saved both problems and was less than $100 if I remember right. And the Wilson sight reminds me of the old python sights.
