Built this retro M16a1 upper recently and decided to use a S&W M&P lower to finish it off to give it a touch of class.

I deployed with one of these back in 'nam. I was assigned to a special unit that repelled out of submarines behind enemy lines. It's the reason I'm still here today. Now I just shoot civilian clone version at the dump, minus the fun switch if you know what I mean hi hi.

And then my "buddy" Hunter enters the chat...ps ask him about his Rolex.

I went the other way and put together a few shorty versions. Not exactly right for a GAU or XM177, but close enough -

Oregon is still pretty good on guns (for now) so I plan on adding a few more shorty uppers.
