new shield

snatched up a shield 9mm today in western PA. got it in the box with papers [used] and two mags for $365 OTD. only put about 20 rounds thru it yet, but appears to function perfectly and is pretty accurate, at least minute of tin can.

i have noted the trigger safety "shelf' catches sometimes during firing. anybody else note that problem?

Congrats on the purchase.
Some have posted about the trigger safety. For some, it's merely due to finger placement, while some noticed a spot that needed some slight filing/sanding.

so far i love it. i think the finger placement is at least partly to blame, but have noticed i can lock it up in quick firing strings. maybe a tiny amount of sanding is in order!

Trigger catches or did on my M&P .45 too, a strok or two with a file will do it.. George
