The specs say it's internal hammer fired, available with or without a thumb safety. It's got a 3.675" barrel and overall length is 6.7", and the weight is 18.5 oz. Since it's internal hammer fired, I assume it's DAO, with no external hammer to cock, which makes me wonder about the trigger. No mention of pull weight that I saw.
This would be a whole lot more interesting if it was in 9mm or .45 ACP.
Here is the link for the Review of the Shield 380EZ by Guns & Ammo.
That gun looks like the answer to a question nobody asked.
This makes no sense. They basically take the .22 compact and make into a .380 instead of taking a 9mm Shield shrinking it down and making it into a .380. This is a worse idea the BG 380. The BG 380 has a bad trigger and none the ergos of a Shield, but at least it is small enough to carry. This new gun won't be great (for a .380 anyway) to carry so basically it will be a range gun/target gun. Who wants a .380 that is just good for the range????? S&W already has that with the .22 M&P. I just don't get it.
Seems way big for being a 380.
