Here's Y'all an update on all the new stuff I'm getting to help me be a better country boy. The lawn mower was a biggie but these are important too. Won't bore you with all the shovels and rakes, drill motors, etc.

The work bench came from Harbor Freight. It just fits my business fine. Not too big but big enough.
The weed eater is an Echo for medium heavy duty to deal with the wild stuff in the back yard.
The chain saw is an Echo 58 volt cordless 16"

I do believe that is about it for the big ticket items. I sure hope so. Now it'll just be the occasional little something or other. We're gettin' there.

NOTE: All the lights are like that to discourage the infestation of mice. They can be a huge problem up here. Seems the like to get under the hood of a car/truck and eat all the non metal parts. I haven't been hit yet to me but you have to stay on top of it.

You are just getting started down a very slippery hill. You need a tractor and loader, tillage tool, scrape blade and rotary cutter. That's just just a start on the tractor and implements and later you will decide that everything you bought is too small and you need to upgrade. What ever the size of the outbuilding you have too store tools is not large enough. When you moved to the country you opened a great big can of worms. :D:D:D Larry

Jack, you will get points deducted for such a neat work shop. You could
probably find everything in the shop, that's just wrong.

Well you'd have been proud of me if you could have seen the one I just moved out of...after 41years. This one has only been set up for 3 days. And it's been raining and no current projects going on until next week. It won't take me no 41 years to get this one lookin' like a crash site for a B-52.

All you need is a good shop cat.

I set out trays of Ramik Green for the mice too eat. They get tired of eating the same menu day after day and stop coming around. Larry

I use the bucket and roller mouse trap in my shop and it's been very effective. Simple to setup and use, sanitary, and gets the job done.

I'd rather not leave the lights on and burn the electricity just to keep out rodents.

Evidently our mice NEVER EVER get tired of all the wires and hoses under the hoods of our cars and trucks. They keep on comin'.

Put a few those dryer sheets under the hood, or where ever you want to keep meeces away. They work as a great deterrent.

Nice shop! Mine looked like that for a few days. I sheet rocked it to keep sparks off the lumber. Built benches all around for bench tools, duh. By the time it was set up for work, I had to buy a 20' conex box to put all the bits and bobs.
