new to me 10-5, import marked by century

this is a 10-5 P&R, S/N dates it to 71-72.
it is import marked by century. but I can't find any marks that identify it to who had it overseas.

there is a pic attached that shows a mark on the yoke if someone knows what it is.

I wish I could tell you where that gun went before it was re-imported to the U.S., but I have never seen that mark before. It's possible some one here knows what it is. Just FYI, and you probably already know this, but S&W never recessed the cylinders on .38 special guns, just magnum calibers and .22's

yeah, that was a fat fingered typo, it's just a pinned barrel
