I just picked up a 2" 10-9 from gunbroker and was curious to find a Century Arms International import stamp (or at least what I think is a CAI stamp) in front of the trigger guard. The serial number is BRF9XXX.

Does anyone know about model 10s that were imported in that serial range? I'm very curious to learn about this gun's journey.

Wow, what a nice gun! I was under the impression that 2" bbl revolvers could not be re-imported (proper term?). I've seen many imported 10s w/o bbls in ads, their 2" bbls having been removed to allow them to be sold.

You could still be right. This barrel could have come from somewhere else. My gut says it was manufactured this way, but who knows?

At least it escaped the batch of two inch round butts that had their barrels "harvested" before being turned out into the surplus market. Very nice gun.

Thanks Walkin. I just tore it down, cleaned it out, lubed it and reassembled it, and also got the BK version of the T-Grip adapter for it. Looking forward to getting it out to the range and on the belt.
