My comment was just based on condition, which IMO detracts from the gun. As others pointed out, that style is period correct and are probably the originals it came with.

Oh DEFINITELY going to get another set and keep those. Just can't decide what I want.

I used to run a small LGS and we did transfers all day, everyday. The “packaging” some vendors utilized was laughable. Worst one I saw (aside from badly damaged boxes) was a loose gun packed in the box with old underwear. No, I’m not making that up.

Never a dull moment. But hey, enjoy that 29-2! Looks great!

I love the turn line on that 29-2! As experts have said, the turn line is evidence of a properly working revolver. Overall, I lightly used example of a 29-2 that will make a good shooter. Congratulations!
