Been lurking for a while, have only posted an introduction on the forum thus far. But just picked up this 586-1 at auction, with box & papers. Have been looking for one for a while, and finally jumped on this one. Hope I didn't outbid anyone on here. Put in a late bid for $650 thinking there was no way I'd get it. After auction fees around $750 + shipping. I'm very happy with it.

Great .357mag, a little heavier than a k frame and a bit sturdier too.
That is a very nice revolver! You are going to be very happy with it I'm sure.
Minus the auction fees very good price. You are going to love it. I'm late to the L frame game but now have a 2.5 and 4 inch 686-4s

Money well spent. That one will be a great shooter.
Very nice. I bought a new one in 1981 and have shot over 100K rounds through it and wouldn't sell it for what you paid for that one! They are great guns, strong, well balanced and durable!! Just right!
