New to me 64-5

Picked this up for what I feel was a steal. A bit rough cosmetically but mechanically sound. No box or papers or anything. The Pachmeyer presentations were shot so they went in the junk drawer. Currently shopping for some target style grips now before I break out the Mothers polish to clean it up a bit.

As for the "engraving," anyone recognize the CDC? California Department of Corrections? Center for disease control?

Also, any possible manufacture date? Serial BEHxxxx.

My first .38 K frame, should be fun. And thanks!

After doing a little grip experimenting with my relatively new 64-2, I added these targets. Put the originals in the box. This is an awesome combo that's getting shot a lot. You'll love it, nice rig!

Just can't resist showing off my 64-3. I changed it to round butt and added these faux ivory grip. She's a *****. Hmmm rhymes with door .
