New to me, K22, model 17-1

Linda,

Sorry for coming into this thread so late...

The 17-1's are very hard to find. Prolly more on the rare side then the scarce side. Bought the only one that I've seen. Drew whined and dined me, until I had to give it up. It was the one gun missing from his .22 Collection at the time. That should give you an idea of how hard they are to come by. BTW, it was a 8 3/8's barrel length...:D

Giz,

Wow... 8 3/8" ! Do you still have any pics of it?
(with or without rocks is fine.. :D )

Before I got this 17-1, I looked up the info in the SCS&W book and saw that they were not that common. I got it for a very good price and luckily, did not have to pay a premium for it being a -1.

Lately, the best pics I've been taking have been outdoors, in a nice shady location. The green moss gives a good color, not to mention a soft padded surface.

Sorry Linda, my bad:o....

Must have confused it with another of my guns. Still a 17-1 though...

That one is sure purty!

Ouch! Those rocks have got to hurt!

I feel bad even putting mine on the dirt! But at least the moss is soft.
