New To Me S&W 40 RECON

Yesterday this S&W 40 RECON arrived! If fired it was minimal...case and paperwork included...I will request a production letter from Jinks on this one! Now I can place my S&W 9 RECON in the same case with the 40 RECON!

That's in wonderful if not perfect shape. I'm, (begrudgingly,) happy for you.

The one I almost bought just seemed "off" finish wise. It looked like it was buffed or something, strangely dull. The price was high but if it had looked like yours I would have got it.

I know we all say this but a 40 Recon is probably going to be my last one. I'm pretty much where I want to be but still missing one of these.

Let us know what you find out once you receive your letter.

I too am missing one of these . I have a 9Recon and a 45Recon , but alas no 40 Recon , which I would love to have . I have a Shorty40 but it's just not a Recon .

I have the 9 RECON, now the 40 RECON but no 45 RECON ...yet...and yes the Shorty 40 I have just is not the 40 RECON

Gorgeous pistol, looking forward to finally nailing down the production numbers on this elusive 40. Vigil167 is not as active as he use to be on this forum, but I know he was also really looking to solve the 40 Recon production number mystery.
