Just shot my new 15 22 and all I can say is I'm hooked. Shot 250 rounds and not 1 FTL or fte I did have 1 FTf. Cci ammo. At 50 yards, I was putting 9 out of 10 in 3 inch circle using my BSA 4x32 scope. I was using my arm as a brace without a fixed base while sitting at the bench. They would not let me shoot standing.

First thing is the trigger requires too much effort. Second the butt stock wobbles. I am ordering a magpul str in mili spec, I hope it's the right 1.

Besides having the most fun without a women, the guy next to me was nice enought to let me shoot his s&w ar 223 while he shot my 22.

Overall great day.

Welcome to the forum and addiction. If you plan on using the factory trigger use the set screw to reduce pull travel, replace the trigger spring with the yellow jp spring, and spend a lot of time polishing the trigger and hammer contact points. Or spend the money on a replacement trigger group. I did the set screw/spring/polish job on mine and acquired a 4lb pull. I am happy with that.

I am going to find a gun smith in dallas to reduce the trigger pull by either polishing or new trigger setup. I am to scared to screw it up.

Get you a CMC trigger module. Anyone can put it in... even I did. No need to pay someone that just might might not do a good job.

I did the polish+set screw job. Didn't touch the springs. They feel pretty weak as is on my 15-22, compared to 15-22's bigger brother. The trigger is now pretty heavy but crisp and resets well.

Welcome. The best thing you can do is to use the forums's Search function to read though the archives. There are several TONS of great info here!
