I like that hand guard, where'd ya get it?? :D:D ;)

It's going to be lite for sure. I got mine sorted out finally, had a bent ejector, but fixed now. ;)

You have to be real careful cutting CF. The carbon slivvers can go right into your open skin like shrapnel (and wear a mask also). I would suggest you get ahold of someone selling them and find out from them the proper way to do it.

Not as light as my AR-22 but as light as some of my competition Ruger 10/22s and almost a pound lighter than my 15-22s.

My optics went kaput and I am waiting on a replacement from the company and so my 15-22 is without anything but iron sights, a micro red dot, AFG, gas pedal and when I took it to the range, I honestly thought it was going to float away, it was too light for me...I like a bit of heft...of course no one wants to be carrying around an anvil but I cannot imagine how light your rifle must feel...I'm glad you finally got your dream of a superlight 15-22 but isn't that pistol grip a little on the heavy side? :p

I cut carbon tubes every day at work (bicycle shop). The stuff I'm cutting has much thicker walls I'd guess, but the idea is the same. Either a very fine hacksaw blade (24tpi or more) or a carbide blade. You can wrap the cut area in masking tape to prevent splintering if you think that might be an issue. Cut carefully and sand the edge. It's actually very easy to cut, much like cutting through PVC plumbing pipe.

All of the safety precautions are good ideas. I don't use gloves, but a mask is great...the carbon dust is bad stuff.

I have that grip. I ended up putting a couple layers of bicycle tube to get that rubbery grip feel.

3.67lbs! Happy happy. Cant wait to shoot it.
Taccom3g handguard, timney trigger, modded stock, 10" barrel, trs-25 with riser.

hanks for the advise. I found the weight of the min stock and Im only 40g over what it weights.
I drilled out the holes in the factory stock, removed the sling point and cut out abit of extra plastic where I could.
