New walnut grips for 460V

I dressed her up a bit. The Pachmayr grips don't fit my hand. These new grips allow me to achieve a comfortable grip.
The palm swell is perfect. The finger grooves line up better than the Pachmayrs. Not that it helps with the function, but I think these grips balance the overall looks.

Both my 500 and 460 wear the factory impact absorbing rubber grips only because I haven't figured out a way to use oversize pillows instead. You'd have to a touch of masochism to use wood grips.

HA! No...not a masochist. This is the only pistol that I shoot with a pair of gloves. The grip is rock solid and the gloves help protect the hand.

I like the way the new stocks look but I too wonder about using full house loads with them. My 460V wears the factory sneakers!
