Hello,

I've been on here for a while, but not a real active member until now. I'm from North Carolina, about forty five minutes North of Raleigh.

Not sure how to change my NRA decal to a lifetime member one since I upgraded with their great deal they had.

I just bought a Texas Ranger Smith and Wesson Model 19 Revolver in the presentation box with a miniature badge today for $800 that's never been fired and no turn ring. I'm wondering how bad I got hurt on it. Trying to figure out how to post a photo now.

Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to talking with you all soon.

Greetings from the Oregon Coast!

I don't think you got hurt too badly. A store near here has a blued 6" 19-3, excellent condition, for $775. That may be a tad high, there could be some wriggle room, but I don't think yours was too high. Too bad you didn't get the knife!

Yeah, I checked the Blue Book and it said without the knife the gun in the box was worth $765. I typically use the book as a guide and I am personal friends with the guy who had the gun. So, I gave him his asking price knowing that we will do more deals in the future and things will even themselves out.

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys. I've been on here for a while, but never a "real" member. I've really gotten a passion for these revolvers over the last couple of years, though and I plan to follow a lot closer.
