Newly posted 19-3 video

My Dad's 19-3, circa 1974. I inherited it, along with the Tyler T-grip and Roy's Leather Goods pancake holster, when he passed away a few months ago (he was retired FBI). I have shot it a couple of times and plan on handing it down to my son when I'm gone.

p.s. just joined, my first post!

Cheers,

Thanks for joining this forum and my condolences on your loss. I lost my dad two years ago, but I am thankful that I got to spend 60 years on this planet with him. About two years before he passed, he gave my gun inheritance early - a nickel model 36.

I've had several model 19's. My first is a 19-3 blue 2 1/2" that I bought in 1976 and was my long time off duty gun. I've owned it almost 43 years and shudder to think what would happen to it if I ever had to use it. That's why one of my dispensable Glocks are now EDC. I still shoot the 19 snub in the off-duty gun phase of the pistol matches.

Thanks for the kind thoughts and advice. It is a beautiful gun, even though it does have some wear. My dad carried it for the last couple of years he was an agent (he retired in 1976) so it's not a safe queen by any means. But I still treasure it.

I live in Maryland, so I don't have an EDC :(
