Nice 22 S&W

A S&W 22 long I picked up a few months ago. It was too nice to pass up. I paid 200? I don't really collect these odd pistols.

It's a model 61 Escort. Unfortunately, the one I fired cycled but failed to cock the hammer with every ammo brand and type I tried, even after a spring change...annoying.

I have one of these that I got LNIB about ten years ago. I have fired on box of Blazer ammo it without any troubles. They are kind of unique, but Murphydog pointed out, many of them had troubles.

According to Roy Jinks, the 61-3 models were very well made and fun to shoot.
