Smith & Wesson Model 36 No Dash "Chief's Special", 216XXX serial number indicates it was made pre-1962.
Excellent original condition, tight and solid, nice bore, original diamond checker walnut grips, pinned barrel, comes with desirable and collectible Tyler T-grip grip adaptor.
Just a beautiful old S&W J-Frame, with the quality and appearance these are known for. No cast parts.
The camera flash reflection in the bluing makes it look kind of like it has fine lines or scratches in the finish, it actually has nice bluing.
Having been made in the 1960-61 period it is of course C&R.
