and I found it in my safe. My wife brought a HS Double-Nine into our marriage that she got from the ex when he said he didn't want it. It's a W-104, 5 1/2", made in 1967 and his dad probably bought it for $40. We've shot it once or twice and I wasn't really impressed but hadn't really looked at it. Took it out by myself just to try it and realized it loves CCI ammo and was doing 1" groups at 10 yards, just a bit to the left, AND the "Double" meant it was double action, though you wouldn't know it form the double action trigger weight. But it is in great condition, really nicely made, and I realized the rear sight is drift-able. Did some research on it last night and was pleased to tell the wife she had a really nice .22 revolver and it was probably worth $300 or so! She was shocked and I wonder if she'll mention the value next time she speaks to the ex. So my on and off search for a .22 DA revolver is over! well, unless/until she decides to kick me to the curb some day.....
