Nickel N-Frame Questions

I just traded a 65-5 for a 29-3, and would like to know a few things about this beautiful .44.

First, year of manufacture. Serial AJA74**

Next, the barrel measures 5" from the end of the frame to the muzzle, but nearly 5-3/4" from the cylinder to the muzzle. Is this considered a 5" barrel?

Finally, she has a Hogue Monogrip on her now, but I'd like some original wood stocks. Any way to know which grips came on this gun originally?
