I started this in the earlier revolver section, but when I went to see it it was a Classic model, a 58-1.
If it didn't have these, I would have walked out:
but after I looked at them, I decided that if I wanted the stags, I had to get the gun, so I did. It came with the original dinky sized classic grips, so I can see why the original owner got something nice for it.
I don't like the hole but I figured at $750 the grips alone were worth about 1/2 of what I paid.
The stags look like they were custom made for the gun as they fit perfectly to the frame. The disks are made of plexiglass, with the sticky paper still on them.
I think I'll put them on my 'real' M58 or possibly on my nickle 29-2. I'll see how they fit a little later.
The gun has a fired shell dated 4/2010
I think I did ok.

Stopped at Outback Arms in Plympton yesterday. While looking in the revolver case I eyed a nickel M58 in what appeared to be like new condiiton. My heart began to flutter. Then I saw the hole in the side.
