Nike alternative

OP here. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th. Please remember all those who have sacrificed family, time and most importantly their lives so that we might celebrate the birthday of the best country in the world!!

In case you didn't click on the links in the original post here's the info.

The intent of this thread wasn't so much about footwear as it was recognizing and supporting the Code 9 Project - mental health for 1st responders and Blue H.E.L.P. - awareness of Law enforcement officer suicide which is currently at 104 year to date.

Code 9 Project - Raising awareness about PTSD

Again, have a GREAT 4TH!!! :)

OK, one vote, likely the only one, for Rockport boat shoe moccasins.
I own lots of pairs, and rotate through, and occasionally
toss the worst ones, having usually served last as paint shoes or water shoes.
Great Lakes yachtboy, I discovered elk Topsiders in the early
60s, and tossed them aside for the Rockports for better support in the 80s. TSA did not like the metal shank ones.
"Above My Paygrade and Outside My MOS" (Line I love from recent
Tom Clancy novel)
Old enough to not kick off my shoes now when I try to fly. Who knew?

I mostly agree with non flag clothing, most made in China, I find that a
little ironic. But, today I wore a t shirt with the flag on the front to bush
hog my mule pasture. Flag on the front and an ex state senator's name
on the back. He is now doing a stretch in the Federal Pen in El Reno, Ok.
He was throwing the tees out during a rodeo parade a few years ago and
one landed in my truck bed. Could not have voted for him if so inclined as I live out of his district. The shirt is getting pretty dinged up, grease
stains etc. Maybe next election cycle someone will be throwing them
again.

On the water it's Sperry or Harken..... their top of the line bottoms grip best.
Or throw on a saddle and ride a real Nike.

Flags circa 1980.
When I was young and Pachmayr my age now..... met some great Americans over the years..... and many who wished they lived here.

Too bad they don't offer a men's 15 wide. :(

I have an issue with American flag clothing in general, but this is a good cause and I don't see a problem with their design.

Just a friendly reminder; we don't talk politics or race here.

15? I know your pain when I get up in the nite to go to the bathroom. I'm only 6 ft tall but have feet like Wilt Chamberlain.
