Allen told part of the story concerning his new M65 and new 140 grain reloads. As the above picture shows, the gun produced single hole groups of around one inch at fifteen yards. This is after I blackened the stainless front sight with a black marker.

all these k-frames and not one jet? my personal fav of all the k's

Greetings all you fellow Smith and Wesson addicts. The stainless F frame has become my favorite of late. Which is your favorite K 38 or K 357??

I thought I was over Kframeitis, as I had become severely stricken recently with Nframeitis. But I have learned the two illnesses can run concurrently, with no sign of abatement in either.
My (friend)? Bruce the pawn-BROKER,(emphasis on broker) had a batch of guns come out of pawn yesterday. He showed me the Model 65-6 and the price was alright. $380. otd.
Then there in the box with the used pistol magazines, was a pair of K square combats for $29.
He let me have them for $20. cash. <> That was it ,I'm broke, but what a gun.
4" heavy barrel ,round butt. I took the factory Uncle Mikes off, and put on the combats for a picture of my $400. gun.
It's a bit of a cunundrum ,all m.i.m. parts, but roll stamped on the barrel and frame, CCU prefix places manufacture at January 1998.
Fit and finish is excellent, and the action is quick and crisp.

I'll shoot it tomorrow on my day off, with my friend Mark (BubbaBlades) breakfast, then the range.

Here are pictures of it, and its stainless F frame brothers. The model 66s I've become addicted to of late.
It's fortunate I'm not married ,cause I'd sure be divorced quick.

I pulled out the other remaining K frames in the collection for a group picture, these I have not been able to let go of to fuel the N frame addiction. I've become quite attached to all these medium frame wonders.

Included here from top right, clockwise, are a 19-3 nickel,13-2 ,547 ,16-4 ,14-4 4"Dayton, K-38 5" I.S.P. ,14-3 p.p.c. gun ,4 screw K-22 ,K-22 Outdoorsman , M&P Target from 1920.

I am local to you, so if you want to unload any 3" Model 65 or 66, FTF, please send me a PM. You have the best looking guns, so don't fret about being unmarried. It is neither terminal nor uncureable.

Model 14, 15, 16, 17! Except I don't have a K32 yet. But if I win the lottery watch out!
