When shooting at the out door range, I have to walk out to the targets to check the hits......I ordered this little cheap spotting scope and got it today...Hopefully I won't have to walk so much any more....Usually the old 15 22 is cold when I get back to the bench.

I had a Bushnell, but someone liked it better than I did and took it.

NcStar 20-60X60 with a laser....What the laser is for, I cannot guess.

I found out the hard way that the letters will chip....I had two and tossed the first...I painted the new one's keys with ten costs of clear fingernail polish and so far so good.......

This raskle will mount on a standard photgraphical camera tripod...Gets it up level with the eyes for general viewing of stars and occasional neiborhood windows...The 60 mag gets you up close...The folks in the condos behind us had roast beef, potatoes, french bread, and a nice merlot.

My ancient spotting scope has a little ring on the top to roughly guesstimate where the scope should be pointed/where it will see. I'd guess this is the new-tech replacement for this.

Let us know how it works out. I got one of the same size made by Meade, which I thought would be good, but was very disappointing. I ended up springing for a Leupold.

I put it on 60x and focused on a pine tree top about 600 yards away in near dark evening......The green pine cones were clear and the pine needles were distinct.....I hope it stays good.....For the price I paid, if it messes up in a year, I will toss it and order another one.

Sounds like a nice scope Dan. Our range has a scope we can use to spot our hits on the 100 yard targets.

But, I am looking at optics to use in the field. I'll see if I can find one of these locally.
