Have scoured the internet and cannot find a holster with the following features:

-leather
-IWB
-thumb break (not my preference but required)
-lefty
-reverse or neutral cant for appendix positioning
-belt loops, not a spring steel clip (1.5” belt)
-for a chiefs special or M60, 1 7/8” bbl

Have not been able to find a thing. I know DeSantis used to make such a thing, because I’ve held it — but looks like no more. If anyone is aware of such a holster, you’d be a life saver. Thank you in advance!

s&wchad has done the OP a service, the holster he's suggested from Falco is available with all the features you listed including left hand. The site even allowed me to add it to my shopping cart with all those features.

I've no experience with Falco for quality of design or performance etc.

The small makers avoid the thumbsnap because (a) it's really hard to execute and (b) that's OK, their core customers don't believe in thumbsnaps. Easy market strategy!

And most sales these days for gunleather are for autos, esp the Glock. Little revolvers certainly do exist but in a minority today relevant to advanced gunleather.

Look at Craft Holsters. They have 59 different holsters for a 2" Chief, you will just have to scroll through for what you want.

Looked, but was unable to find any among the options with the above.

Looking at the thread title, I thought this was gonna be a Mexican carry thread.

Sorry to disappoint :D

Yeah, it’s definitely been harder. There are options for small autos that aren’t made for J-frames, for sure. And you’re spot on — I don’t love the thumb break, nor do I feel it’s required. But unfortunately I have to have one on this holster, which has complicated things.

I did find that Falco link, but got the weird feels poking around their website — almost like it was going to be made in China lego parts holsters. Too many options, check the box, like I was ordering it from a machine. Does anyone have any first hand experience with their leather? Of course, every maker I’ve used in the past is like “absolutely not” once I get to the thumb break. Thank you all again for your help thus far.

I have some experience with Falco/Craft. I believe that it is a Slovakian company. Ordered from this company twice. Requested custom appendix carry K Frame and Colt D Frame holsters. One of them worked okay. The other, not so much. That said, the company was very nice. Offered to remedy the issue and produced a generally high quality product. I asked the company to do something custom. It was not from the catalog. So certainly not a huge surprise that it did not go 100% as planned. Heck, most holster companies would not even try. I give Falco/Craft credit in that regard. I feel like it is a solid company and would absolutely order from Falco/Craft again. Would probably stick with one of the stock or website available holsters.

You might want to drop a line to this guy...

Black Creek Leather

He made an IWB for me to my custom specs, and I was not disappointed in any way with the holster I recieved from him. As such, I have no qualms about recommending his holsters based solely on my personal experience ordering from him.

I have the Bianchi IWB 3S pistol pocket holster with thumb release ... you can order one from Bianchi "Left Hand" ...
It is my favorite IWB holster ... I Like It !

Oh yeah! Great holster. Here's mine for the OP.

Thank you all! Super helpful feedback. I ordered a Falco shortly after the initial reply. It arrived and I’m going to be testing it out shortly. Honestly, I’m probably going to order the other holsters mentioned here as well and see what’s most comfortable. That’s why we all have a box…. Thank you again - I’ll follow up with any meaningful conclusions.

The Bianchi holster has an adjustable "cant" you can set it and tighten the screw ... I like this adjustable cant featrure for when sitting in a car ... I leave the adjuster just tight enough to hold it snugly in place , but not so tight that I cant move the angle of the gun if I need too .
I can adjust the cant for sitting ... or standing ...

Sweet little holster !
