Howdy all, this place you have here has been a wonderful resource for doing some research into my next steps of hand-gunnery. ( Is that a word yet?) We have a small collection of rifles, shotguns, and pistols. The guy who does loading for me, for our deer hunting weapons, sold me a S&W 22A, IIRC, and I love that plinker. Another friend got me interested in the medium platform semi-autos again in trying to veer me away from the Gockenspiel that the interwebs seem to have become. I do have a G23, but I believe one Glock is plenty! I prefer the heavy metal in the traditional builds such as the DW .44 CTG I found @ a garage sale. (When you run out of ammo they double as a club or boat anchor, take your pick.) Anyway, the next step I've come to realize is the preservation of traditional crafts like handloading and perhaps gun-smithing as well. I don't see all too many folks under 50 in these fields and I know it is an important part of my/our culture thats needs tending too. Thanks again to the owner here for a great site. Cheers!
