Anyone know if a Series 70 .45 Auto with the collet bushing & barrel can be converted to use the pre-Series 70 standard bushing and barrel?

No need to change the barrel, just have a new bushing fitted...

Yes, the barrel w/bushings can be changed out as a set.

Yes it can.

The best route to go, if you can measure, is measure barrel OD and slide ID. Give George at EGW a call, tell him what your doin and give him your measurements.

You'll get a pre-fit match grade bushing back.
