Not How I Wanted To Spend Last Friday

I had just gotten Lisa's Yaris back from the shop and was taking it for a little drive when for some reason the USPS driver decided to make a U turn in front of me in the middle of a 2 lane road.


I'm sure it's totaled.


Last time I saw it.


I'm fine, just a little bit of a burn from the airbag on the inside of my right forearm.
I'm gonna miss that little car.

Bummer that it has sentimental value, I'm sorry it was Lisa's. I had a pickup repaired that was totaled, I took the little bit of cash they gave me, it was "just" hail damage, and collision insurance is off the table but I'm glad I did it as it had great utility left and I just like the doggone thing.

….seen WAY too many of these over the years that were more than wrinkled cars. As has been said, cars can be replaced. Nothing makes you value life more than seeing it absent from a body way too often.

Good you are OK. The USPS driver needs a P test. How could any "professional" driver pull such a bone head move? Get on his post master, be sure it goes on THEIR insur. Push them to fix it. Don't let them BS you. Call your congress man. Raise holy heck.
