Hey all - I'm looking for a QD endplate for my M&P 15 TS and leaning toward the Noveske - mainly because it seems very minimalistic and out of the way.

Anyway - anyone with an opinion either good or bad on it? Or other suggestions? I want my stock to fully collapse so it needs to be low profile. Does it have to be staked as some of the online videos would suggest?

As far as a sling goes - I'm thinking about the Magpul MS3. I'd like to try to stick with a single point as my Troy TRX rail requires either an add-on rail section - or the Troy QD mount for in one of the holes to pull off a 2 point sling. Any thoughts there?

I added a Troy Quick Detach that I like, can be Installed without removal of the stock, comes with one QD swivel but it does restrict you from closing the stock on the last notch, doesn't bother me any and as Troy goes very well made, also use it with a Magpul MS3 work great.

Thanks hdbeast! I ordered the Troy one like you have, the Troy TRX QD swivel for my rail and a Magpul MS3 QD sling. I figure my TS has mostly Troy stuff already - might as well continue down that road.

If I can't live with not being able to fully collapse the stock I'll look into the Noveske - but I don't feel like having to tear my rifle apart to install it.

On a side note - as cool as the Troy TRX/Alpha rail looks (and feels) it seems to continually create issues with mounting things and having to use the little "add-a-rail" sections, remove it etc.
