I have been doing wild animal rescue for some years now and racoons in dumpsters is pretty common. People wont shut the lids. I keep some lattice handy for these incidents and they climb right out. Even made a longer folding version.

I can never understand when people let their animals run the house, and get away with anything. No special treatment at our place.
